We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to support hiring initiatives for a leading organization in scientific instrument manufacturing based in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position.
About the role
You will partner with business leaders to shape effective recruiting plans, strengthen talent pipelines, and deliver a thoughtful candidate experience. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, a collaborative approach, and the ability to manage full-cycle recruitment while maintaining compliance with applicable hiring standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with department leaders, HR partners, and sourcing teams to understand workforce needs and create targeted hiring strategies for open positions.
- Develop clear recruitment plans that define role expectations, screening methods, interview stages, and approaches for attracting talent with relevant experience.
- Work alongside sourcing specialists to build outreach strategies that expand candidate pipelines across a range of functions, levels, and locations.
- Champion inclusive hiring practices by supporting equitable recruitment efforts and encouraging diverse candidate representation throughout the process.
- Guide candidates through each stage of the hiring journey and help ensure a detail-oriented, responsive, and positive experience from application to selection.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, requisition activity, and hiring documentation within the applicant tracking system.
- Stay informed on labor market conditions, recruiting practices, and employment regulations that may affect talent acquisition decisions.
- Ensure recruiting activities align with federal and state employment requirements and internal compliance expectations.
- Identify opportunities to improve talent acquisition workflows, increase efficiency, and strengthen overall hiring outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 5 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition is required.
- Proven success hiring for varied job categories, organizational levels, and geographic markets.
- Strong ability to evaluate candidate qualifications quickly and make sound talent assessments.
- Experience supporting diversity-focused recruiting programs is preferred.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems is required, and experience with iCIMS is preferred.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with leaders and stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results consistently.
