Senior Content Strategist
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Content Strategist to lead the strategic direction of content across our ecommerce ecosystem. This is a high-impact consulting role focused on content strategy, customer experience, SEO, brand storytelling, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and own the global content strategy for the RDX Sports website
Create content frameworks aligned with business objectives, customer journeys, and brand positioning
Build scalable content roadmaps supporting product launches, seasonal campaigns, and international expansion
Identify content gaps, opportunities, and priorities using data-driven insights
Define editorial standards, governance, and best practices across all digital channels
Optimize website content architecture to improve user experience and conversion rates
Develop strategies for product pages, category pages, buying guides, educational content, landing pages, and brand storytelling
Collaborate with UX, Product, and Ecommerce teams to improve customer journeys
Recommend improvements to website navigation, content hierarchy, and information architecture
Partner with SEO specialists to create long-term organic growth strategies
Ensure content aligns with evolving search engine algorithms and user intent
Create topic clusters, content hubs, pillar pages, and authority-building initiatives
Oversee content optimization for international markets and multilingual expansion where applicable
Strengthen the RDX Sports brand voice across all digital touchpoints
Ensure consistency in messaging across product content, campaigns, blogs, email marketing, and social media
Develop storytelling frameworks that reinforce brand credibility and customer trust
Introduce AI-powered content workflows to improve efficiency without compromising quality
Evaluate emerging content technologies and recommend scalable solutions
Establish quality assurance processes for AI-assisted content production
Define content KPIs aligned with business growth
Monitor engagement, SEO performance, conversion rates, and customer behavior
Conduct regular content audits and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Measure ROI of content initiatives and optimize accordingly
Mentor internal content writers and SEO teams through strategic guidance
Collaborate with Marketing, Branding, Design, Product, Ecommerce, and Development teams
Provide strategic direction while empowering internal teams to execute
Required Qualifications
8–12+ years of experience in Content Strategy, Digital Content, or Ecommerce Marketing
Proven experience developing content strategies for global ecommerce or D2C brands
Strong understanding of SEO, UX writing, customer journey mapping, and content architecture
Experience managing enterprise-level content ecosystems
Deep knowledge of ecommerce platforms and digital customer behavior
Experience working with distributed or global teams
Strong analytical mindset with expertise in content performance measurement
Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
