About the Role
Senior Consultants leverage their experience to deliver discrete projects with minimal supervision. They demonstrate a clear understanding of the client’s business issues, detailing and tailoring consulting solutions to generate maximum value through idea generation and engagement experience. The Senior Consultant must achieve high personal billability.
Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador for Wipro’s tenets and values, securing great feedback from multiple clients.
- Coordinate teams of consultants as a Consulting Project Manager or equivalent, ensuring quality of deliverables.
- Demonstrate flexibility in approach, coordinating resources with expertise in various areas.
- Exhibit decisive and directive delivery focus with a "can-do" attitude, showcasing both hard and soft skills.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate team and client staff, building trust and confidence through quality and delivery.
- Engage effectively with clients, extracting information through strong facilitation and communication skills.
- Ensure project administration is up-to-date (e.g., Statement of Work, tagging).
- Achieve high levels of individual utilization in line with goal-setting expectations.
- Consistently agree on personal extensions with clients.
- Build and maintain a network of client relationships, providing intelligence and insights to solve business problems.
- Lead smaller-scale meetings with sales teams and contribute to high-standard proposal development.
- Anchor market research activities in chosen areas of work.
- Play a major role in opportunity identification, raising potential pursuits to the practice leadership team.
- Develop insights into industry and technology trends, sharing them with the wider practice/GCG.
- Contribute to team thought leadership and document assignment track records as case studies where appropriate.
- Deliver Wipro administrative tasks timely (timesheets, appraisals, expenses).
- Contribute to internal initiatives and suggest improvements for engagements using tools, methods, and knowledge management platforms.
- Organize and contribute IP and knowledge assets to Wipro’s central repository, promoting reuse.
- Engage with other consulting and delivery teams to enhance collaboration and growth through Wipro’s "Communities" activities.
- Propose new service offerings and demonstrate value through innovation and subject matter expertise.
- Provide on/off-site training and demos to staff as needed.
- Develop process assets and reusable artifacts based on project learnings.
- Connect with SMEs to ensure delivery approaches consider downstream requirements.
- Proactively participate in and suggest ideas for practice development initiatives.
- Actively share knowledge and points of view within the team and relevant communities of interest.
- Support business performance for direct consulting against quarterly/annual targets.
- Improve consulting quality through flawless delivery of transformation engagements.
- Enable pull-through business and impact for Wipro via front-end consulting engagements and client relationships.
- Lead or contribute to the development of thought leadership, offerings, and assets for the practice.
- Demonstrate eminence and thought leadership through content, citations, and testimonials.
- Contribute to white papers, POVs, and reusable assets like frameworks and methods.
- Generate ideas and actively contribute to new consulting offerings and solutions.
- Provide consulting leadership to accounts, supporting Wipro-wide objectives and growing client relationships.
- Support the GCG Account Lead/team to expand the consulting service portfolio.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience.
- Mandatory skills: HC - Payor.
Skills Development
- Grow consulting talent by expanding skills and capabilities in new industries, business themes, frameworks, and technologies.
- Complete a minimum of 32 hours of training annually, combining online and classroom learning on new industries, business themes, technologies, and frameworks.
- Contribute to people development and collaboration effectiveness.
- Participate in collaboration across GCG by contributing to cross-practice offerings and sharing best practices.
- Engage in knowledge management by owning and contributing assets to Consulting Central.
Pay
Expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $148,500. Final compensation will depend on geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
