About the role
The Senior Consultant will join our Nursing Consulting team, blending healthcare expertise with advanced analytics to deliver customized strategies that improve performance and elevate the human experience in nursing, safety, patient experience, and employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Press Ganey and client data assets to consult stakeholders on industry changes and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with clients for data analysis, interpretation, and process design to solve business problems.
- Construct and lead data analysis for payer analytics, such as authorization metrics and denial rates.
- Train and coach nursing teams on best practices and process improvements.
- Coordinate tasks to ensure efficient completion, delegate responsibilities, and leverage internal and client resources.
- Manage and deliver defined scopes of engagement, including timelines, deliverables, budgets, and outcomes.
- Create and manage successful client relationships, generating positive feedback on quality, value, innovation, delivery, and results.
- Communicate effectively with various levels of client management, addressing risks and recommendations.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize project activities using work plans and other project management tools.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of nursing experience, including system and process design.
- Experience designing strategies to enhance nurse-client connections.
- Past experience in training and coaching nursing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvement initiatives.
- Strong data analytic skills (Excel, Access, SQL, SAS, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office products (Word, PPT, Excel).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a Magnet-designated healthcare organization (ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®).
- Consulting experience is preferred.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Location: Remote (U.S. based) or based in Chicago, Boston, or South Bend hubs. Hybrid schedule: Tuesdays through Thursdays in-office, flexible on other days due to travel.
Travel: Up to 75% nationally.
Pay Range: $110,000 to $140,000. Offers are based on a variety of factors including skills, training, experience, education, and market and organizational considerations.
