About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to help design, build/configure, activate, and support the implementation of Oracle Health EHR (Millennium) solutions across Federal agencies including the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs, and Indian Health Service. The Federal Consulting team is a group of hard-working, knowledgeable, and passionate members who want to shape electronic health records systems for active-duty service members, their beneficiaries, our nation’s veterans, American Indians, and Alaska Natives.
A Senior Consultant is an experienced consulting professional who understands solutions, industry best practices, and multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. You will operate independently to provide quality work products, applying Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices to meet customer needs.
U.S. citizenship is required due to client contracts, and you must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance applicable to your position. Travel may be up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients on service line workflow and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts.
- Provide solution oversight, direction, and expertise to stakeholders.
- Drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations.
- Mitigate solution risks and issues.
- Execute workflow and process improvement strategies.
- Lead client meetings and events.
- Drive internal team initiatives.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years total combined related work experience and completed higher education.
- At least 2 years of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, and/or other client-facing or IT solution work experience.
- 3+ years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles, including knowledge and experience with the Oracle Health Inpatient Nursing & Ancillary product(s).
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.
- U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts.
- Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance.
- Willing to travel up to 50% as needed.
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
Pay
Hiring range in USD from $25.48 - $63.65 per hour; from $53,000 - $132,400 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations.
