Inpatient Consultant

For our client, we are seeking a Inpatient Consultant to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will focus on supporting inpatient coding and clinical consulting efforts that strengthen documentation quality, compliance, and training outcomes across healthcare organizations. The consultant will work closely with clinical teams and client stakeholders to deliver clear content, practical guidance, and audit support in a fast-paced, remote environment. This position also contributes to broader quality and security initiatives while helping hospitals apply best practices in coding and record review. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $125,600 – $172,700 annually Responsibilities Validate and apply software modules related to coding and training Collaborate with clinical teams and clients to create educational content Present clinical and coding concepts to hospitals and other healthcare organizations Lead audits of medical record coding and compliance Participate in company initiatives that support quality and security standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher with 7 years of coding or professional experience High School Diploma or GED with 11 years of clinical or coding experience RHIT/RHIA with CCS certification and 5 years of inpatient coding experience Valid RN license with 5 years of acute care experience and a recognized CDI credential Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally Benefits Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision Flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care Disability and life insurance options Paid time off and retirement benefits Onboarding support with travel arrangements covered by the company Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
