Senior Consultant, Healthcare
About the role
Ipsos Healthcare, a leading market research agency, is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Advisory Services team. This role involves working with a range of pharmaceutical clients, developing consultancy advice on multiple therapy areas, and collaborating with diverse professionals such as scientists, brand managers, and strategists.
Responsibilities
- Develop competitive assessments and market landscape analyses for healthcare products.
- Design and implement product life cycle strategies for both existing and upcoming healthcare products.
- Collaborate with executive leaders to design commercialization and go-to-market models, including launch strategies.
- Execute analytical work streams to optimize the impact of commercial programs and tactics.
- Lead day-to-day operations and material development for multiple engagements, providing guidance to Analysts and Senior Analysts.
- Work cross-functionally with Advisory and broader HC teams, utilizing primary and secondary market research approaches and techniques.
- Illustrate business acumen and critical thinking skills on a wide range of client business questions.
- Confidently present reports and proposals in response to client Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Lead interactions with clients, from kick-offs to final report deliveries.
- Support business development efforts and build strong client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in relevant field (MBA/MPH preferred).
- 4+ years of professional life science experience, preferably in consulting, branding/marketing, management consulting, brand management, or market research.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for bringing clarity to ambiguous situations and a deep interest in healthcare and its challenges.
- The ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team setting, understanding primary and secondary market research methods.
- Business acumen and critical thinking skills to address complex client business questions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- A high degree of independence and exceptional work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay
The estimated base salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on various non-discriminatory factors, including location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education, and certifications.
