Senior Consultant - Financial Due Diligence - Private Equity Advisory

Responsibilities

• Perform financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions, including Quality of Earnings, and analyze working capital, cash flows, and key financial metrics.
• Develop and present client deliverables, such as detailed Excel analysis and PowerPoint summaries of findings.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client executives to gather data and communicate insights effectively.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions and analytics tools (Power BI, Alteryx) to synthesize data and identify trends.
• Demonstrate ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
• Show a continuous learning mindset by learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of professional experience in audit and/or financial due diligence, preferably within Big 4 or similar firms.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI and Alteryx is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
• Show a continuous learning mindset by learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. CPA highly preferred (inactive status acceptable); CFA and other advanced degrees well regarded.
