Senior Consultant - Financial Due Diligence - Private Equity Advisory

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions, including Quality of Earnings, and analyze working capital, cash flows, and key financial metrics.
  • Develop and present client deliverables, such as detailed Excel analysis and PowerPoint summaries of findings.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client executives to gather data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions and analytics tools (Power BI, Alteryx) to synthesize data and identify trends.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and leverage AI-enabled tools in accordance with firm-wide policies.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Requirements

2-6 years of professional experience in audit and/or financial due diligence, preferably within Big 4 or similar firms. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI and Alteryx is an advantage. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. CPA highly preferred (inactive status acceptable); CFA and other advanced degrees well regarded.

Qualifications

Must have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. CPA certification is preferred but not required. Experience in audit and/or financial due diligence is required, preferably within Big 4 or similar firms.
