Senior Consultant, Enterprise Value Creation
About the role
The Enterprise Value Creation (EVC) practice at Baringa is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the team. The role involves driving sustainable P&L improvements by implementing cost and revenue growth strategies that align with both short-term financial challenges and long-term shareholder expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in value creation programs and projects focusing on areas such as gross margin improvement, SG&A/third party cost reduction, pricing & profitability, commercial excellence, operational performance improvement, and operational/commercial due diligence. They should also have experience working across the client lifecycle, from diagnostics to mobilizing and leading multi-disciplinary programs.
Responsibilities
- Help clients address complex strategic, operational, and organizational cost, margin, and value-creation issues.
- Build and lead multi-disciplinary cost and margin improvement programs.
- Empower clients to sustain improvements through effective knowledge transfer and capability building.
- Mentor and inspire junior team members to help them realize their potential and stay motivated.
- Be a key member of the Enterprise Value Creation team responsible for building out the team to become the “Go To” brand in the market.
Requirements
- Experience delivering in value creation programs and projects focused on: gross margin improvement, SG&A/third party cost reduction, pricing & profitability, commercial excellence, operational performance improvement, or operational/commercial due diligence.
- Experience working across a client lifecycle: from diagnostics creating baselines and forming hypotheses; through designing improvement initiatives and implementation plans; to mobilizing a profitability transformation program.
- Experience in business development and delivering work in at least one of Baringa’s industry sectors (Financial Services, Products & Services, Energy & Resources).

- At least 2 years of relevant work experience (4+ years for Senior Consultants).

- Salary range: $126,000 - $146,500.
