What You Will Do
- Lead assessments of business processes and operating models to identify inefficiencies, risks, improvement opportunities, and standardization approaches.
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, surveys, and working sessions to gather requirements and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Develop current-state and future-state process maps, process documentation, SOPs, and implementation roadmaps.
- Support organizational change management efforts, including stakeholder engagement, communications planning, and implementation support.
- Analyze business requirements and operational challenges to develop practical, actionable recommendations for clients.
- Design and develop training materials, job aids, onboarding resources, and implementation guides to support adoption of new processes.
- Track project progress, facilitate working groups, and prepare executive-level briefings and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 5 years of consulting, program management, business transformation, or process improvement experience.
- Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and business process assessments.
- Experience developing process maps, workflow documentation, and business requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating executive presentations, reports, and client deliverables.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting dynamic client environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal agencies or federally funded programs.
- Familiarity with grants management, compliance, or program administration environments.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Human-Centered Design, Agile, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting organizational change management and transformation initiatives.
- Experience developing training curricula and knowledge management resources.
- Experience with process automation assessments and business workflow modernization.
- Experience supporting DOT, FTA, or transportation-related organizations.
Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00 - $163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
