Senior Compliance Specialist
About the role
This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. The Senior Compliance Specialist will support compliance activities, including licensing, monitoring, research, reporting, training, and data analysis for corporate operations.
Responsibilities
- Support compliance activities with a primary focus on conflicts of interest (COI) and related compliance matters, providing guidance on regulatory requirements, company policies.
- Analyze business operations to assess compliance impact and identify potential regulatory or conduct risks.
- Participate in compliance investigations, including fact-gathering, issue review, and documentation of findings.
- Support enforcement actions, including recommendations related to sanctions and remediation where appropriate.
- Ensure proper documentation of compliance reviews, investigations, guidance provided, and resolution actions in accordance with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience preferably within the insurance industry
- Active insurance license
- Experience with client engagement at a professional level
- Good verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
Qualifications
- Interest in pursuing insurance compliance career path
- Ability to make public speaking presentations/trainings in an engaging manner
- Detail-oriented, able to see beyond the immediate issue and identify underlying risks, patterns, and compliance implications

Pay
The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,400 to $128,700. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Schedule
All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
