About the role

The Senior Leasing Consultant plays a crucial role in the leasing team, focusing on providing exceptional customer service and leading the team to achieve leasing goals. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in property management software, and knowledge of fair housing laws.

Responsibilities

  • Customize tours to meet individual resident preferences, including recommending floorplans and highlighting new neighborhood amenities.
  • Create and maintain a sense of community among residents through proactive outreach and engagement.
  • Manage weekend activities to maximize interest in the community, ensuring availability on Saturdays.
  • Support and train junior team members, offering guidance and resources to enhance their performance.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least one year of experience in a leasing or customer service role in the real estate or property management industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
