Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Producer to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial team. This is a production-focused role with minimal servicing responsibilities, supported by a dedicated Account Manager and Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in generating new business, particularly in the farm and agriculture niche, though generalist backgrounds will also be considered. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, independent agency backed by a strong platform and robust carrier relationships.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive and flexible compensation structure tailored to your experience and production capabilities:

  • Option 1: New Producer Ramp
    • Year 1: $32,000 base salary
    • Year 2: $24,000 base salary
    • Year 3: $18,000 base salary
    • Commission Split: 40/40
  • Option 2: Experienced Producer
    • Flexible base salary, open to higher guarantees depending on book of business and track record
    • Potential earnings up to $115,000+ for producers generating over $100,000 in revenue annually

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through a relationship-driven, prospecting-heavy sales approach.

  • Focus on niche markets such as farm and agriculture, contractors, habitational, and transportation, while also considering generalist opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal Account Managers and Marketing teams to ensure seamless client servicing and support.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Producer, with a demonstrated ability to generate new business.
  • Background in independent or captive insurance agencies is preferred.
  • Expertise in farm and agriculture insurance is highly desired; experience in contractors, habitational, or transportation insurance is a plus.
  • Strong relationship-building and prospecting skills, with a field-based, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Familiarity with insurance technology platforms such as QQ Catalyst (current) and EPIC (transitioning in November 2026).
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a production-focused, accountability-oriented culture.
