Senior Commercial Director

For our client, a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space, we are seeking a Senior Commercial Director to lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Location: San Jose, CA – US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support for project issue resolution and contract application
• Draft and co-draft technical memos, policy papers, and issue analysis documents
• Oversee project team's review of technical and administrative submissions
• Assist in change order resolution and provide litigation support
• Perform administrative audits and identify areas for procedural improvement
• Review subcontract documentation and compliance
• Mentor and train team on contract policies and project communication

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Legal Studies, or related field
• 15 years of experience in project management, contract drafting & negotiation, construction claims resolution, or related roles

Pay

$225,746 – $360,607 annually
