Senior Client Manager - Business Insurance
About the role
The Job Marsh McLennan Agency’s Business Insurance department seeks a dedicated and empathetic Senior Client Manager to handle high-level client relationships, manage accounts, and drive growth for key accounts. This role involves providing comprehensive customer service, analyzing insurance needs, and collaborating with the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and accounts by offering high-level service and responsiveness to client needs.
- Provide commentary on coverage inquiries, contract reviews, analytics, and market feedback, and offer guidance on claims and risk control.
- Coordinate insurance proposals, stewardship reports, analytics/benchmarking, market commentary, and other client deliverables.
- Assist sales executives on calls and client meetings.
- Review and evaluate submissions and proposals prepared by Client Relations team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide insurance coverage analysis and recommendations for improved or additional coverage.
- Update customer information in the agency management system to ensure accuracy and up-to-dateness.
- Ensure quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance.
- Maintain confidentiality and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of risks associated with large commercial accounts, including emerging risks, cyber risk, regulatory and compliance risks, operational risks, etc.
- At least 5 years of commercial industry and product line experience, preferably in a brokerage or agency setting.
- A strong understanding of commercial property and casualty insurance.
- CPCU or CIC designations are preferred.
