Senior Claims Support Specialist - Property

Responsibilities

  • Keeps accurate and current records in designated systems that are accessible to others.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for other support staff, providing technical training as needed.
  • Updates reports, prints checks, and understands relevant information.
  • Sets up and maintains databases and other systems.
  • Sets up and maintains spreadsheets and other systems.
  • Seeks relevant information and answers to key questions from defined sources.
  • Contacts other internal departments and team members.
  • Answers incoming customer calls for the department.
  • Communicates primarily on task- or learning-related matters, creating and delivering a variety of messages and information.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details.
  • Ability to follow process.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient use of various core systems, office and computer equipment, and software packages.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in property-and-casualty claims.

Compensation Overview: The full hiring range for this role is $23.25 – $30.69, hourly. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience of each candidate, as well as other factors such as the scope and location of the role. Candidates looking for compensation outside of the posted range are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on their individual qualifications and / or may be considered for other positions.
