Job Requirements
- Communicate with insureds, carriers, adjusters, attorneys/counsel during life of a claim
- Review and evaluate insurance policies to determine coverage potential
- Evaluate and review legal documents for proper handling of claims and liability
- Advocate 1st party property claims from initial report to settlement
- Organize and participate in claim reviews meetings and new business presentations
- Maintain diary of files for follow-up and document all follow-ups within claim file
- Interact with account service teams
- Create and issue correspondence, including written advocacy on behalf of Hub clients
- Track claim success stories
- Contribute towards quarterly newsletters and articles based on claim scenarios
- Demonstrate effective team management skills
Qualifications
- 5+ years minimum of commercial insurance claims handling experience
- Multi-line brokerage or carrier claims experience on 1st party property claims
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in deadline-driven environment
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Proficiency with all MS Office Applications
- P&C License required; can be secured post-hire
- Occasional local travel; limited travel outside of local area

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
