Senior Claims Advocate

Overview

The Gallagher National Risk Control Team is now the Gallagher Claims and Risk Consulting Team. This team provides experts, processes, and solutions to help clients meet evolving risk challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Consulting with clients and brokers on claims and coverage issues
• Facilitating and attending client meetings and claims reviews
• Negotiating changes in reserves for a positive client outcome as appropriate by line of coverage
• Providing status reports to clients as required by any applicable service plan
• Reviewing action plans and reserves with consideration for client costs
• Actively researching and obtaining claims information from clients and carriers
• Timely and accurately communicating with all interested parties
• Reviewing all new problematic or complex claims on designated clients and formulating a plan of action to achieve a favorable claim resolution

About You

• 5 years of relevant claims experience, with adjuster experience preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including responsiveness
• Excellent analytical, time management, and organizational skills, including ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage large volumes of information
