Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee the execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any issues that may arise.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, fostering positive relationships.
- Understand and address client needs and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular project updates and ensure client satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, including engineers, designers, and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with projects.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Evaluate and propose cost-effective solutions.
- Uphold high-quality standards in project deliverables.
- Conduct regular quality checks and inspections.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field: master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience as a Civil Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing complex civil engineering projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Strong Leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
