Senior Civil Engineer
About the role
We're seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in the Central region of the US. You'll be part of multi-disciplined teams responsible for planning, designing, and constructing site-development projects for both municipal and private clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of site plans, technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates, and permit applications for projects
- Develop land development plans and attend municipal meetings
- Navigate local, county, and state regulations and permitting requirements
- Provide mentorship and develop junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license (in Texas) preferred or ability to file for licensure within 1 year
- 5-10 years of project experience in land development, specifically around linear infrastructure; experience in multiple states a plus
- Familiarity with engineering modelling software including: HydroCAD, SewerGEMS, HEC-RAS
- Knowledge of engineering drafting software by Autodesk (Civil 3D)
- Experience with presentations at zoning hearings and other public meetings

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This role is full-time and requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
