Senior Chemist

Position Description

Perform chemical analyses, instrument calibrations, instrument maintenance, data interpretation and validation.

May consider full-time remote work. Candidate in Ada, OK will eventually be required to report on-site 5 days per week once the office is open.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (in chemistry or a related scientific discipline) and eight years of directly related experience; master’s degree (in chemistry or a related scientific discipline) and six years of experience; or a Ph.D. (in chemistry or a related scientific discipline) and four years of experience
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to think critically
• Knowledge of chemical/physical principles, theories, and established methodologies adequate to manage the full range of duties involved in conducting analytical chemistry projects and/or data validation for analytical chemistry projects
• Extensive experience using analytical instruments for analyzing organic compounds and direct experience supervising analytical chemists and laboratory operations and/or performing data validation
• Experience performing S4VEM data validation of CLP data
