About the role
Coatings formulation chemists will be focusing on solvent, waterborne, and 2-component coatings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize formulations for various coating types.
- Conduct experiments to improve product performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in coatings technology and materials science.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in coatings formulation.
- Preferred experience with solvent-based industrial coatings.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in chemistry software and tools.
- Knowledge of polymer chemistry and rheology.
