About the role

OCES is growing! We are expanding to 11 more towns covering the south shore area, including Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth, etc. OCES supports older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services. By promoting healthy, safe living for our consumers, we hope to allow them to stay active and engaged in their lives and in their own communities for as long as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Assign, review, evaluate and approve the work of assigned staff
  • Maintain and monitor the provision and effectiveness of community services
  • Provide training and support to GSSCs
  • Understand and adhere to OCES and funding source regulations, standards, and procedures; distribute and interpret this information to staff
  • Advise SCO Manager with other tasks upon request
  • Ensure that appropriate records are maintained for each SCO Member in accordance with the standards of the profession and generally accepted standards of care
  • Ensure that monthly Case Management/Assessment billing is complete and accurate in collaboration with the SOC Manager

Requirements

  • Your passion for helping others and desire to make a difference
  • Ability to plan and organize work independently
  • Working knowledge of community programs, providers, resources, and community health care programs
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field
  • Current Social Work preferred
  • Three years of experience in a social environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
