OCES is expanding to 11 more towns covering the south shore area, including Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth, and others. We support older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services, promoting healthy, safe living to help them stay active and engaged in their communities.
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking Home Care Supervisor to review, evaluate, and approve the work of assigned staff, as well as assist with program development and staff training.
Responsibilities
- Assign, review, evaluate, and approve the work of assigned staff
- Monitor the provision and effectiveness of authorized services
- Provide training and support to Care Managers; participate in hiring program staff
- Understand and adhere to OCES and funding source regulations, standards, and procedures; distribute and interpret this information to staff
- Advise and consult with other Home Care management staff from various disciplines on a regular basis
- Assist Home Care Program Managers with other tasks upon request
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field
- Current Social Work License preferred
- Three years of experience in a social services environment
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
