Senior CADD Technician

About the Role

Senior CADD Technician – Richardson, TX. Halff is seeking an experienced Senior CADD Technician to support engineering infrastructure projects through the development of high‑quality design and construction drawings. This role works closely with engineers and project teams to produce accurate, efficient, and standards‑compliant deliverables using advanced CADD software.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain engineering drawings and layouts.
• Develop designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D and CADWorx.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, clients, and contractors.
• Maintain project documentation and drawing records.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers and technicians.

Requirements

• 5+ years of CADD/design experience.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and CADWorx.
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles and drafting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Experience in engineering consulting, utility, energy, or infrastructure projects preferred.
