Senior CAD Technician

FEI is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D experience and a passion for land development. In this role, you’ll play a key part in turning concepts into buildable plans—working closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality designs that make a lasting impact. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed land development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including site layouts, subdivisions, roadway design, water/sewer/stormwater systems, grading, erosion control, and stormwater management plans.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver accurate, on-time designs.
• Support project timelines and budgets through efficient, high-quality work.
• Assist with processing plans through governmental agencies for approvals.
• Ensure all work meets company standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Review designs for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred)
• 5+ years of land development design experience
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Solid understanding of site design, utilities, and grading principles
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• CAD certifications (preferred)
• Experience with Ajera or similar time/expense software (preferred)

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM
