About the role
NVIDIA is seeking a skilled team member to develop and manage tooling and release infrastructure for chip designers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in compiled languages and scripting, and will be adaptable to working in a global and diverse environment.
Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and maintain high-quality tooling for scalable build/regression/release infrastructure.
- Develop user-facing services to enable chip designers to quickly schedule, track, and triage their flows.
- Create internal tools to collect, analyze, monitor, and visualize key metrics of the build and deployment systems.
- Adapt the latest CI/CD practices to continually improve the tools and meet industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Experience in a compiled language (C++, Golang) and scripting (Python, Perl, Tcl).
- Good production quality code writing skills.
- A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, and computer science theory.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a global and wide-ranging environment with different frameworks and requirements.
- Great teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Interest or experience in AI/ML and developing agent workflows.
- Proficiency in SCM (e.g., Git, Perforce) and build systems (e.g., Make, CMake, makepp, Bazel).
- Full-stack development experience.
- Experience with C++ linters, memory checks, performance profiling, and code coverage tools.
- Experience with distributed computing systems such as LSF.
Skills
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
- Ability to work in a global and diverse environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Benefits
Base salary ranges from $152,000 to $241,500 for Level 3 and from $184,000 to $287,500 for Level 4. Eligible for equity and benefits.
Pay
Base salary is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
