About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a skilled team member to develop and manage tooling and release infrastructure for chip designers. This role requires expertise in software development, particularly in compiled languages like C++ and Go, and scripting languages like Python and Perl.

Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and maintain high-quality tooling for scalable build/regression/release infrastructure used by chip designers.
  • Develop user-facing services to enable quick scheduling, tracking, and triaging of design flows.
  • Create internal tools to collect, analyze, monitor, and visualize key metrics related to the build and deployment systems.
  • Adapt and implement the latest CI/CD practices to continually improve and align with industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience in a compiled language (C++, Golang).
  • Experience in scripting (Python, Perl, Tcl).
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, and computer science theory.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a global and diverse environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with version control systems (Git, Perforce).
  • Knowledge of build systems (Make, CMake, makepp, Bazel).
  • Full-stack development skills.
  • Experience with C++ linters, memory checks, performance profilers, and code coverage tools.
  • Experience with distributed computing systems (LSF).

Skills

  • Interest or experience in AI/ML and developing agent-based workflows.
  • Proficiency in SCM and build systems.
  • Full-stack development skills.

Benefits

The position offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $152,000 - $241,500 for Level 3 and $184,000 - $287,500 for Level 4, along with equity and benefits.
