About the role
The role is open to US-based candidates, with regular travel expected to key sites including Columbus (OH), Wilmington (DE), and Bridgewater (NJ). This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for a global business and cross-functional teams, reporting directly to the Business Director for Injectables, Medical Devices, and Bioprocessing.
Responsibilities
- Lead engagement with key customer segments including Medical physicists, Oncology centers and OEM partners and distributors.
- Define and execute a focused growth strategy across core and adjacent applications, including Radiotherapy QA (primary demand driver), In-vivo dosimetry and emerging applications, and Industrial and radiology use cases.
- Identify and scale new growth vectors (e.g., proton therapy, FLASH therapy, in-vivo systems).
- Drive application-driven innovation aligned to clinical validation needs, workflow efficiency, and digital integration.
- Partner with quality and regulatory teams to maintain robust technical documentation, support audits and inspections, and manage global regulatory complexities.
- Own delivery of financial performance, including revenue growth, margin, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Drive business performance management, using data-driven insights to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable priorities.
- Leverage market, customer, and competitive insights to shape strategy and inform decision-making.
- Drive commercial alignment, working closely with sales teams to expand market presence and win new business.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR to deliver integrated outcomes.
- Drive operational excellence, partnering with Operations and Supply Chain to improve quality, efficiency, and customer service.
- Actively contribute to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing on goals and focusing on performance and safety.
- Improve the organization capacity and capabilities through building collaborative relationships, optimizing diverse talent and utilizing positive communications and influence with others.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a science designation
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial, business, or operational roles
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed, global environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into action
- Prominent ability to drive execution and influence without direct authority
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels
- Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all times
Qualifications
- The ability to help the company drive greater value through understanding the business, making complex decisions and creating the new and different
- The ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Skills
- MBA or advanced degree
- Preferred experience in medical devices or diagnostics (including diagnostic films) or oncology, or hospital-based healthcare environments
- Technical experience in a relevant science or material field is an advantage though not required
- Exposure to innovation management, portfolio strategy, or product commercialization
- Knowledge of product / business management
