Purpose
Identify, analyze, document, and implement business and system requirements supporting Provider Data Management and related healthcare provider systems. Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Developers, Testers, and cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements within the Salesforce-based Provider Data Management system (PDMES) application and associated downstream systems. Serve as the functional expert and primary liaison between business and technical teams.
Essential Functions
- Interpret business needs by partnering with stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, validate, and prioritize business and system requirements for Provider Data Management initiatives.
- Create functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other project artifacts; participate in solution design reviews.
- Coordinate and support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities for application enhancements, provider data initiatives, and production releases.
- Assist with test planning, defect triage, validation of fixes, release readiness, and implementation activities; provide guidance and communication to business stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Research, analyze, and resolve moderate to complex business, system, and provider data issues by collaborating with business partners, technical teams, and downstream system owners.
- Support production issue resolution, root cause analysis, data validation, and process improvements while identifying opportunities to improve system functionality and operations efficiency.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business and technical documentation including business requirements, user stories, process flows, decision logs, test scenarios, implementation documentation, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate assigned work efforts from planning through implementation by monitoring deliverables, managing priorities, identifying risks and dependencies, tracking project progress, and communicating status to leadership and project stakeholders.
- Support Agile ceremonies and assist with release planning activities.
- Answer policy-related questions for business process, systems and software requiring research and consultation with others internally and externally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
- 5 years progressive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, testing or other analytical experience.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, effective deliverables on-time and be a significant contributor to the development of cost-effective solutions.
- Proven understanding of business analysis core competencies.
Skills
- High-level knowledge and understanding of business products and services.
- Microsoft Office applications usage.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
Pay
Salary Range: $73,728 - $146,432
Schedule
Hybrid model in the greater Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. Work a portion of the week from home and a portion at a CareFirst location based on business needs.
