Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build annual business plans, positioning strategies, and cutting-edge programming for the brands to expand market share and consumer piece of mind.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure advertising, digital media, social content, and point-of-sale merchandising programs align with focus calendars and brand initiatives.
- Analyze syndicated data (such as Nielsen) to track brand performance in market as well as market data and consumer trends to optimize and influence campaigns.
- Partner closely with sales, finance, operations, internal marketing functions (trade, digital, events) and external creative agencies
- Manage a team including an ABM and designers providing coaching, development and clear direction to ensure the team is aligned with overall business objectives.
- Show strong analytical, problem-solving, creative, and organizational skills by making timely and sound decisions.
- Act as a brand leader to internal and external constituents.
- Manage several brands within the Stella Rosa portfolio (Frizzante, Sparkling, Brandy, Cream Liqueurs) – each grouping has its own personality, ensuring there remains consistency across the brand worlds.
- Seasoned management of all aspects of the marketing mix including pricing, promotion, packaging, products, channel, consumer, creative, as well as competitive analysis.
- Develop national trade & shopper marketing strategies and promotions/incentive programs that coincide with our marketing initiatives, both on-sale and off-premise.
- Manage/maintain key DAM tools and websites such as Salsify and Brandfolder in collaboration with the E-Comm and trade team.
- Write copy as needed for sell sheets, websites, tech notes, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- A four-year college degree and/or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of wine and spirits industry experience, showing growth in roles throughout career.
- 3+ years of people management experience, with a proven record of people development.
- Understanding of design in brand marketing, with a focus on brand identify.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Naturally detail-oriented and meticulous in nature.
- Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong ability to follow up and give clear feedback if needed.
- Ability to interact and collaborate with all functional levels and business areas.
- Naturally comfortable working in an in-person and mobile, interactive environment.
- Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to the company.
- High level of emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex situations.
- Self-starter, able to work in a space of ambiguity and evolving role and solutions oriented.
- Problem solver, resourceful, and able to find solutions independently.
- Competent with all reporting systems, Microsoft Office, Asana, Adobe Creative Suite.
