Job Summary and Purpose
Ceva is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial marketer to drive brand strategy, commercialization planning, and launch readiness across our Companion Animal Rx portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to support both established products and future pipeline assets, including an innovative new therapy with the potential to make a meaningful impact on veterinary medicine.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand strategies, positioning, and messaging that differentiate Ceva's prescription products and deliver customer value.
- Serve as the marketing lead for assigned Rx brands and pipeline assets, maintaining a strong understanding of customer needs, competitive dynamics, market trends, pricing, and positioning.
- Develop annual marketing plans for assigned brands while supporting commercialization planning for future pipeline assets and anticipated launches.
- Lead launch readiness activities for future products by partnering cross-functionally to develop go-to-market plans, customer engagement strategies, and commercialization activities aligned with business priorities and regulatory milestones.
- Contribute to portfolio planning and lifecycle management by identifying opportunities to strengthen brand performance and support long-term growth.
- Analyze market research, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and business performance to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and recommend actionable strategies.
- Translate customer insights and emerging market trends into meaningful marketing initiatives that drive business growth.
- Develop and maintain integrated marketing calendars supporting in-market brands, customer initiatives, and future launches.
- Evaluate marketing initiatives using ROI analyses and performance metrics, recommending opportunities to improve business impact.
- Manage external agencies, market research partners, creative vendors, and promotional suppliers to ensure high-quality execution.
- Build strong partnerships with Sales, Commercial Excellence, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Operations, and Global Marketing to successfully execute brand strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support launch readiness, ensuring organizational alignment and commercial preparedness ahead of product launches.
- Build collaborative relationships across the North American and Global Companion Animal organizations.
- Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and industry experts to generate customer insights and support successful commercialization efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive brand marketing experience, preferably within Animal Health, Human Pharmaceuticals, or another highly regulated healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic marketing plans and integrated commercial campaigns.
- Experience supporting product launches and commercialization planning; experience with innovative or first-in-class products is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to leverage customer insights and market research to develop impactful marketing strategies.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within a matrixed organization.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Animal Health experience is preferred; candidates from Human Pharmaceuticals with commercialization experience will also be considered.
