Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the business owner for an assigned brand portfolio, developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies that drive growth, profitability, and market share.
- Lead the day-to-day management of the business, including brand strategy, commercialization, innovation, and marketing execution.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, retail, e-commerce, social, and traditional channels.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue Management, R&D, Innovation, Finance, and agency partners to deliver business objectives.
- Translate consumer, category, and market insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Drive innovation and commercialization initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to bring new products and brand renovations to market.
- Manage brand P&L, marketing budgets, and performance metrics while identifying opportunities to improve ROI and business performance.
- Analyze syndicated data and business performance to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
- Lead agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class consumer communications.
- Coach and develop junior marketing talent while fostering strong collaboration across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive Brand Management experience within a CPG environment (ideally food or beverage).
- Experience managing established consumer brands with demonstrated ownership of brand strategy and business performance.
- Strong General Management mindset with P&L ownership and budget management experience.
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams and influencing key stakeholders.
- Experience developing and executing innovation and commercialization strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing syndicated data (IRI/Circana or similar).
- Deep understanding of consumer insights, omnichannel marketing, and integrated brand activation.
Pay
This position pays a base salary of $165k-$175k dependent upon experience and is eligible for 15% annual bonus.
Schedule
This position has a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office in the northwest suburbs of Chicago!
