Essential Job Functions
- Reviews/Updates failed bills & claims on host system and within billing vendor.
- Works daily electronic submissions (or 277's) resolving claim issues.
- Maintains daily claims errors and resolutions, providing recommendations on systems fixes.
- Works daily late charges & rebills.
- Bills hardcopy claims attaching any needed documentation for payment.
- Pulls EOB's and Medical Records as needed attaching to claims and mailing.
- Contact patients, insurance, any third party for insurance information or any additional billing data.
- Creates training documents/tests. Train educate staff, providing testing.

Desired Education
High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 2 years of an accredited degree or equivalent experience.
- CPB Certified within 9 months of hire.
- Internal candidates must have achieved 100% productivity and 95% quality assurance for the prior 3-month period.
- Experience on multiple payers or SME on one payer.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Pass typing test of 35 words per minute (error adjusted).
- Ability to provide a mock training session for the interviewer(s).
- Inquisitive and open to innovation including AI.

Willingness to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.
