Senior Benefits Account Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Benefits Account Manager to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will own the delivery of tailored benefits support for small businesses and startup clients, with a strong focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and clear communication. You will partner closely with customers to navigate enrollment, renewals, and open enrollment while helping prevent issues before they arise. The position also calls for cross-functional process improvement to ensure benefits administration runs smoothly across carriers and state regulations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $109,500 – $152,100 annually Responsibilities Guide customers in designing tailored benefits packages Own the end-to-end enrollment process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain up-to-date health insurance information in systems Proactively communicate with customers to preemptively resolve issues Build and refine internal processes to prevent missed enrollments Tackle complex benefits problems that span carriers and regulations Manage client lifecycle during renewals and open enrollment Qualifications Active Life & Health broker license required Experience with small group benefits for SMBs and startups across multiple states Exceptional attention to detail for building resilient systems Strong customer empathy to prioritize client needs Ability to communicate complex benefits clearly to first-time founders Proven track record of being in the top 5% of peers Benefits Equity options and RSUs Comprehensive benefits package Highly competitive salary within the SaaS and fintech industry Regular updates to compensation based on reliable survey data Offers based on experience, expertise, and geographic location Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
