Senior Benefits Account Manager

About the Role

This full-time, onsite role supports the sale of employee benefits to organizations. The Benefits Account Manager processes policy changes, provides customer service, and cross-sells additional lines of business. The role sets an example in performance and professionalism for other staff members.

Responsibilities

• Process policy changes and respond to enquiries with professionalism and timeliness.
• Answer client’s questions regarding payments and notices.
• Process endorsements for clients.
• Manage a diverse book of house accounts.
• Cross-sell additional lines of business to existing customers.
• Support designated staff.
• Review and respond to renewal activities.
• Follow up and see tasks through to completion.
• Always protect the best interest of both the company and the customer.
• Build benefit enrollment materials for employees using Excel and PowerPoint.

Requirements

• Active license appropriate to the line of business (required).
• Understanding of the group renewal cycle and how to support a producer with admin tasks.
• Ability to multitask and manage different projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Highly organized with the ability to plan and operate efficiently.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and good energy in the workplace.
• Computer literate, ready to use and learn various portals and software programs.
• Engaged, motivated, and eager to make connections with people.
• Quick learner who can integrate new knowledge rapidly.
• Professionalism, setting the standard for success and conduct.
