About the role
The Banking & Financial Services Practice Group at Phillips Lytle is seeking a senior attorney with eight or more years of experience in handling secured financial transactions, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex secured financial transactions, including loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, and various loan and collateral documents such as mortgages and security agreements.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Work on transactions of all complexity, ranging from small business lending to syndicated transactions on a national and cross-border scale.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to originate and maintain strong client relationships.
- Portable business.
Qualifications
- At least eight years of experience in banking and financial services.
- Experience with secured financial transactions, including loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, and various loan and collateral documents.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

Pay
Annual salary range for this position is $200,000-$350,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on location, experience, volume and nature of portable business, or other job-related factors permitted by law.
