Audit Senior – Public Accounting
A well-established, growth-oriented public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to support its audit and assurance practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day engagement activities to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Cook up and plan engagement phases, including budgeting time and expenses and monitoring performance
• Serve as the primary “in-charge” field representative on engagements
• Take ownership of assigned engagement areas and drive them through completion
• Leverage prior engagement experience to address current issues effectively
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Travel to client sites as required (varies by engagement)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• CPA license or active pursuit of licensure
• 3+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on audit and assurance
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills (including lookups and pivot tables)
• Familiarity with common accounting and audit software platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, CCH systems preferred)

• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, and lead engagement teams
