About the role
The Senior Auditor will be responsible for conducting financial audits and reviews to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial audits and reviews to assess compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify areas of risk and recommend corrective actions to mitigate potential issues.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing audit findings and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex financial issues.
- Stay current with changes in financial regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing or financial analysis.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
