Could be considered Benefits section.) - Residency Requirement: New York City Residency is not required for this position - Additional Information: EEO boilerplate (should be removed). Also mention inclusive equal opportunity employer etc. Remove. We need sections: About the role (maybe a summary), Responsibilities (duties), Requirements (minimum qualifications), Qualifications (maybe assignment level details?), Skills (preferred skills), Benefits (loan forgiveness, residency?), Pay (not present), Schedule (hours). We should only include sections with real content. We have schedule: Hours/Shift: Monday through Friday 9am – 5 pm with flex. So we can have Schedule section. Pay: Not mentioned, so omit. Benefits: Public Service Loan Forgiveness info and residency requirement (not required). Could be considered Benefits. Also maybe mention "Public Service Loan Forgiveness" as benefit. We'll include Benefits section with that info. About the role: Could be a brief description of the role from the first paragraphs: The Agency Attorney III will serve as Senior Attorney for Office of Legal Affairs, dual assigned to Estates Team and Medicaid Review Team, litigates estate matters, advises MAP/HCSP, etc. We'll put that in About the role. Responsibilities: The list of duties after "who will:" (the bullet list). We'll put that as Responsibilities. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications (admission to NY bar, experience). We'll put that. Qualifications: Additional qualification details about Assignment Levels II and III maybe? Could be considered Qualifications. We'll include that. Skills: Preferred Skills. Benefits: Loan forgiveness and residency not required. Schedule: Hours. We must not include boilerplate like EEO etc. We must not invent or summarize away detail; preserve all substantive info. So we need to include all details from the posting, not omit any. We need to ensure we include all specifics: e.g., mention of Surrogate’s Court and Supreme Court in all five boroughs, Medicaid recoveries, etc. Those are in About the role or Responsibilities? They appear before the "who will:" list. We'll incorporate them in About the role or Responsibilities. We need to be careful not to repeat info unnecessarily but preserve all. Let's extract all substantive sentences. Paragraph 1: Department description (DSS, HRA, DHS). Might be considered About the role? It's background but not directly about role. Could be part of About the role. Paragraph 2: SLRLU provides litigation services... Under general direction... Agency Attorney III will serve as Senior Attorney for Office of Legal Affairs. The Senior Attorney litigates and may supervise attorneys who prosecute or defend civil legal actions in court or prepare and review legal documents on behalf of the Commissioner. The Senior Attorney will be dual assigned to the Estates Team and Medicaid Review Team. Attorneys litigate estate matters in Surrogate’s Court and Supreme Court in all five boroughs to recover Medicaid monies due and owing the Department. These recoveries are critical in maintaining the fiscal integrity of the Medicaid program. Attorneys also advise MAP and HCSP on Medicaid financial eligibility by reviewing applicants’ trusts and other financial and legal documents to determine if they comply with regulations and the assets they hold must be disregarded or counted as a resource. In each case, attorneys write legal recommendations to the relevant client program to ensure they accurately determine financial eligibility. Paragraph 3: The Office of the General Counsel of Legal Affairs (OLA) is recruiting for one (1) Agency Attorney III to function as a Senior Attorney within SLRLU who will: (list of duties) Paragraph 4: Hours/Shift: Monday through Friday 9am – 5 pm with flex Paragraph 5: AGENCY ATTORNEY - 30087 (job ID) - we drop. Paragraph 6: Minimum Qualifications ... (details) Paragraph 7: Preferred Skills ... Paragraph 8: Public Service Loan Forgiveness ... Paragraph 9: Residency Requirement ... Paragraph 10: Additional Information (EEO) - drop. Thus we need to include all info from paragraphs 1-3, 4, 6-9. Now we need to format into HTML with headings

and lists
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. We must decide what constitutes a list. The duties list after "who will:" includes multiple items separated by semicolons. Could be turned into

    • . Similarly Minimum Qualifications could be a list? It has multiple conditions: Admission to NY State Bar; and either "2" or "3" below. Then two options. Could be a list. We'll make a list. Preferred Skills is a list separated by hyphens; we can make
      • . Benefits: Public Service Loan Forgiveness and Residency requirement could be list. Schedule: just a paragraph. About the role: prose. Responsibilities: we could treat the duties list as Responsibilities. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications. Qualifications: Assignment level details? Actually the text about Assignment Levels is part of Minimum Qualifications? It says: "In addition to meeting the minimum Qualification Requirements: To be assigned to Assignment Level (AL) II, candidates must have one year of experience at Assignment Level I or two years of comparable legal experience subsequent to admission to the bar, in the areas of law related to the assignment. To be assigned to AL III candidates must have two years of experience in Assignment Levels I and/or II or three years of comparable legal experience subsequent to admission to the bar, in the areas of law related to the assignment." This is additional qualification details; we could put under Qualifications section. Thus sections: - About the role (prose covering department description, SLRLU, role description) - Responsibilities (list of duties) - Requirements (minimum qualifications) - Qualifications (assignment level details) - Skills (preferred skills) - Benefits (loan forgiveness, residency) - Schedule (hours) We must not include empty sections. Now we need to ensure we preserve all substantive info. Let's craft the content. About the role paragraph: Combine department description and role description. We'll write something like:

The Department of Social Services (DSS) comprises the administrative units of the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) and the Department of Homeless Services (DHS). HRA fights poverty and income inequality by providing essential benefits such as Food Assistance and Emergency Rental Assistance. DHS prevents and addresses homelessness through innovative strategies to help families and individuals exit shelter and achieve self‑sufficiency. The Support and Lien Recovery Litigation Unit (SLRLU) provides litigation services and legal counsel to the Commissioner, Office of Child Support Services (OCSS), the Medical Assistance Program (MAP/Medicaid), the Home Care Services Program (HCSP), and the Investigation, Revenue and Enforcement Administration (IREA) in accordance with Federal, State and City laws. Under the general direction of the Associate General Counsel or a supervising attorney, the Agency Attorney III serves as a Senior Attorney for the Office of Legal Affairs. The Senior Attorney litigates and may supervise attorneys who prosecute or defend civil legal actions, prepares and reviews legal documents, and is dual‑assigned to the Estates Team and Medicaid Review Team. Attorneys litigate estate matters in Surrogate’s Court and Supreme Court in all five boroughs to recover Medicaid monies owed to the Department, preserving the fiscal integrity of the Medicaid program. They also advise MAP and HCSP on Medicaid financial eligibility by reviewing applicants’ trusts and other financial and legal documents, determining whether assets must be disregarded or counted as a resource, and writing legal recommendations to ensure accurate eligibility determinations.

That covers all info from paragraphs 1-3. Now Responsibilities: list of duties from the "who will:" list. We need to capture each duty: - Draft intricate documents such as pleadings, motions, statements, contractual agreements, and provisions in conjunction with court orders, agreements, stipulations, services to be delivered, or judgments; protects the City against potential liability, reviewing and analyzing city, state
