About the role
Modern Family Law is a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law, seeking a hybrid Family Law Senior Attorney to help launch and grow the new Savannah office. While the physical office is not yet open, the firm is building relationships with talented Georgia attorneys excited to be part of something new. This role offers a remote‑first setting with brick‑and‑mortar space available when required by courts or clients, a low billable‑hour requirement of 120 hours per month, direct client contact, the opportunity to develop substantive litigation skills early in your career, the satisfaction of meaningfully impacting people's lives, competitive compensation and benefits, cutting‑edge technology, learning and development support (onsite and in‑person), and the ability to work from anywhere after six months.
Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.
- Engage in direct client communications.
- Draft legal documents.
- Handle depositions, court appearances, and mediations.
- Thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while managing multiple responsibilities with attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively within a team‑oriented setting to ensure collective success.
Requirements
- Four (4) or more years of Family Law experience.
- Experience in Family Law preferred; open to litigation candidates interested in practicing Family Law.
- Active admission to the Georgia State Bar.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client‑focused mindset.
