Senior Associate Scientist - DNA Core
Regeneron uses science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. Join our DNA Core facility, which provides Regeneron laboratories with services necessary for conducting scientific research, including nucleic acid isolation and purification, Sanger and Nanopore DNA sequencing, gene expression and genotyping by real time and digital PCR, and synthetic biology and molecular cloning.
About the role
As a member of the DNA Core team, you'll perform assignments in a timely fashion, follow scientific protocols, and contribute to technology development through experiments that drive process improvement. Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot technical issues and communicate clearly with other team members
- Run real-time and end-point qPCR reactions
- Analyze and present data
- Contribute to lab and equipment maintenance and order supplies/reagents to help create a safe, effective, and efficient working environment
- Maintain accurate and complete records consistent with company policy and legal requirements
- Perform laboratory work involving pipetting, computer work, and communication with researchers
- Program, run, and error handle on various robotics platforms and liquid handlers
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or a related field, with 5+ years of laboratory experience
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Experience with qPCR (real-time and end-point) techniques
- Experience with automation, liquid handling, and scripting
- Attention to detail and strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Pay
Salary Range (annually): $70,300.00 - $110,100.00
