Responsibilities

  • Secure new and expanding business opportunities in the Retail sector through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and identifying opportunities for other service lines.
  • Create new opportunities to drive revenue growth with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Maintain a cross-collaborative attitude that encourages partnership with other Leasing, Investment Sales, and Equity Placement/Debt Financing teams across product lines.
  • Track prospects and business opportunities in company databases.
  • Stay updated on the local market by attending local business and industry events, networking, and participating in client meetings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial real estate sales experience (both via phone and in-person canvassing).
  • Licensed Real Estate practitioner with the State of CA.
  • Strong knowledge of lease structures including NNN, modified gross, and full-service leases and ability to clearly communicate implications to clients.
  • Deep understanding of market cycles and set a short and long-term strategy taking these into consideration.
  • Highly motivated, bringing a high level of energy and initiative to everything you do.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, and communication skills.
  • Well organized and with excellent time management skills.
  • Prior experience using CRM programs.

Qualifications

  • Well-versed in local Oakland/East Bay market.
  • Ability to bring a positive attitude and learn the business quickly.

Skills

  • Commercial real estate sales experience.
  • Knowledge of lease structures.
  • Market cycle understanding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with CRM programs.

Pay

Pursuant to local law, Colliers is disclosing the following information: Approximate Compensation Range for this Role - 100% commission based. Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all national locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
