Senior Associate or Of Counsel – Employment Litigation

Job Role/Duties

  • Handle all phases of assigned caseload (mixture of filed cases and pre-litigation files) through resolution.
  • Draft demand letters, complaints, and motions.
  • Vigorous representation of clients throughout the litigation process.
  • Attend court hearings and conferences.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery and appear at depositions.
  • Participate in settlement efforts, including through mediation and settlement conferences.

Qualifications

  • Admitted to the NY State Bar.
  • 3-8 years of experience litigating cases under the following statutes:
    • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.
    • The New York State Human Rights Law.
    • The New York City Human Rights Law.
    • Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
    • New York Labor Law (NYLL).

Compensation

Full compensation package will be commensurate with attorney's level of experience.
Salary range: $150,000 to $250,000 (commensurate with experience).
