About the role

Join Amgen’s mission of serving patients. In this vital role, you will work directly within the Business Analytics and Insights (BAI) team as a Commercial Insights Senior Associate. The Senior Associate will deliver HCP (Health Care Provider) primary market research and insights to the UPLIZNA brand team, providing deep market understanding and practical outputs. You will act as an internal consultant, guiding teams through complex processes in daily execution of primary market research and developing long-term insight generation plans to support marketing and sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Implement primary market research projects, understanding the needs of research sponsors and contributing to building the insight generation plan.
  • Support key annual activities including Executive Reviews, Brand Planning, Budgeting, and reason support by providing objective insights.
  • Translate primary market research findings into practical insights and influence team decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain relationships with internal cross-functional partners and external vendors to prioritize business needs and enable insights generation.
  • Improve team capabilities by researching and implementing new research tools (e.g., AI-based platforms), internal and external standard methodologies.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree, or
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of primary market research, data analytics, and/or consulting experience, or
  • Associate’s degree and 6 years of primary market research, data analytics, and/or consulting experience, or
  • High school diploma/GED and 8 years of primary market research, data analytics, and/or consulting experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consulting experience within the pharma space.
  • Expertise in pharma primary market research techniques.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to translate complex information sets into practical outcomes.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to explain sophisticated concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including senior management.
  • Strategic thinking to support key business decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment across functional groups.
