About the role
Taft is seeking a team-oriented senior litigation associate to join its construction practice in our West Palm Beach office.
Responsibilities
- Managing junior associates
- Representing clients in complex construction litigation
- Counseling on construction defect claims
- Handling contract and business disputes
- Transactional experience with contract drafting and negotiation (a plus)
Requirements
- At least eight or more years of construction litigation experience
- Excellent academic and professional credentials
- Superior research and writing abilities
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- Preferred JD from an ABA-approved law school
- Admitted to practice in Florida
- Admitted to practice in good standing in at least one additional state
Skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
