Commercial Construction Litigation Associate We are working on a unique opportunity for an experienced litigator to inherit an established partner's book of business, assume meaningful client relationships, and take on a leading role within a sophisticated commercial construction litigation practice. A regional law firm is seeking a Commercial Construction Litigation Associate with 6+ years of experience to handle complex disputes involving commercial construction projects, contractors, developers, owners, and other industry participants. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing construction-related litigation, including contract disputes, payment claims, delay and disruption claims, construction defects, and other complex commercial matters. Responsibilities Manage commercial construction disputes from inception through resolution, including trial preparation and trial.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and dispositive briefs.Conduct and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.Analyze construction contracts, project documentation, and expert reports.Work directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to develop litigation strategies.Develop and maintain client relationships, with the opportunity to assume an existing partner's book of business and take ownership of established matters. Qualifications 6+ years of litigation experience with a focus on commercial construction disputes.Must be admitted to practice in New JerseyStrong experience handling depositions, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.Excellent writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.Ability to manage matters independently and maintain strong client relationships.
