Senior Associate - Active Trading Support
About the role
The Senior Associate - Active Trading Support position at Clear Street is part of the Active division, which provides powerful tools for active traders. This role involves front-line support for a retail active trading platform, primarily through incoming phone calls, platform support cases, and potentially live chat during market hours. Key responsibilities include handling platform questions, account issues, PDT inquiries, onboarding, and billing. Escalations for execution/trading issues are directed to trade desk specialists.
Responsibilities
- Handle platform questions and account issues
- Manage onboarding processes for new clients
- Respond to operational inquiries from both clients and internal team members
- Escalate execution/trading issues to trade desk specialists
Requirements
- At least four (4) years of experience in fintech or brokerage support
- Professional trading experience or experience in a trading support function like Operations or Client Services across equities, options, or futures (futures is strongly preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Calm and composed under emotional pressure
- Strong client service skills, able to identify and resolve issues
- Active Series 7 & Series 63 licenses required
- Active Series 3 license preferred, must be prepared to pass the exam within three months of joining
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience at a retail trading brokerage prior to joining Clear Street
- Familiarity with retail (active) trading or professional platforms
- Experience with Pylon or similar support platforms
- Knowledge of PDT rules, margin mechanics, and order types
