Associate - Active Trading Support

About the role

The Associate - Active Trading Support position at Clear Street is part of the Active division, which provides tools for active traders. The team manages client onboarding, fund movements, and supports account-related inquiries in a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Front-line support for a retail active trading platform via phone calls, platform support cases, and potentially live chat during market hours.
• Handles platform questions, account issues, PDT inquiries, onboarding, and billing.
• Escalates execution/trading issues to trade desk specialists.

Requirements

• At least 2 years in fintech or brokerage support.
• Professional trading experience and/or experience in a trading support function like Operations or Client Services across equities, options, or futures (futures is strongly preferred).
• Strong verbal & written communication skills.
• Calm and composed under emotional pressure.
• Client Service skills, able to identify and resolve issues.
• Mandatory: Active Series 7 & Series 63 licenses.
• PREFERRED: Active Series 3 license, must be prepared to pass the exam within 3 months of joining.

Preferred Experience

• Experience at a retail trading brokerage prior to joining Clear Street.
• Familiarity with retail (active) trading or professional platforms.
• Experience with Pylon or similar support platforms.
• Knowledge of PDT rules, margin mechanics, and order types.
